n
elegant residence built in 1758, Château Langoa is the archetype
of the 18th century bordelais style. Its architecture and harmonious
proportions seduced Hugh Barton who became its proud owner in
1821
The three central rooms, hall, drawing-room and dining-room cover
the whole width of the building, thereby enjoying maximum sunshine.
The two wings of the house consist of six bedrooms. This first
floor is elegantly decorated and successive owners have respected
its traditional style. On the ground floor are to be found the
kitchen and cellars.
The Château is surrounded by a park planted mostly with
oak trees and a garden combining the orderly French style with
a more informal English touch.
